What´s up on Friday?
Chess960 events end today

01.08.2008 - On Friday two Chess960 events will end: the final of the 4th Livingston Chess960 Computer Championship is now under way in which Rybka and Shredder will play four games. Also running on Friday: the six last rounds in the 7th FiNet Chess960 Open. The leaders after the first day, Hikaru Nakamaru and ex-Fide world champion Kasimdzhanov met in the sixth round and that game ended in a draw. Nakamura won in the 7th round against Kazhgaleyev and is the sole leader after seven rounds with 6,5 points. Later today the highly anticipated GrenkeLeasing Rapid World Championship will start with Anand, Carlsen, Morozevich, and Polgar. You can follow the top games in our live portal !
